Tenders for the erection of the proposed new national school at Rathgarogue, New Ross, County Wexford, which were received on 3 April 1985, are being examined. When examination of tenders has been completed the manager of the school will be requested to pay the local contribution. The contract will be placed on receipt of the local contribution subject to the approval of the Department of Education. Once the contract is placed there should be no delay in the commencement of building work.
