My Department is at present examining a proposal which has been received from the City of Dublin VEC in this matter. The terms of the proposal were such that it was found necessary by my Department to seek additional information from the Vocational Education Committee in the matter. When this information is received my Department will be in a position to finalise their examination of the proposal and convey a decision to the VEC without delay.
