The application in this case related to the carrying out of repairs to the basic fabric of the house. However, in accordance with a statutory condition of the scheme which provides for a ten year waiting period, the application had to be refused as a reconstruction grant was paid in this case in 1981. In the circumstances the carrying out of an inspection does not arise.

asked the Minister for the Environment when grants will be paid for a group water scheme (details supplied) in County Galway.
The allocation of grants for this two house scheme will be considered when grant application forms are received from the group.
