A new community school has been sanctioned for Cashel, County Tipperary, to replace the existing convent, CBS and vocational schools. The new school will provide a comprehensive range of educational facilities on a single campus. Commissions have recently been offered to consultants and it is expected that architectural planning will be commenced shortly. Pending completion of the planning process, it is not possible to say when construction will be commenced. The estimated cost of the project is £3 million.
