My Department in November last agreed to the invitation of tenders for the new national school at Duncannon, County Wexford.
It is understood from the Commissioners of Public Works who were asked to make the required arrangements that tenders are at present being examined by them. When the commissioners have furnished their report, the question of placing a contract for the project will be considered and a decision will be conveyed as soon as possible to the school authorities. It is not possible to say, at this stage, when building work may commence.
