asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in arranging a final inspection so that a new house grant can be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick, and if he will ensure that the inspector notifies the applicant when the call is to take place so that the house can be properly inspected.

There has been no undue delay in my Department in arranging an inspection in this case. An inspection, by appointment, will be carried out as soon as possible.

566.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a final inspection will be carried out for a house improvement grant for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow and payment made.

A final inspection with a view to payment of the grant, if in order, will be carried out in this case as soon as possible.

567.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house improvement grant was not paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

The application in this case for the provision of an extra bedroom was turned down on the basis that an increase in the floor area of the House was not involved and the person named was advised, accordingly, on 14 November 1984. However, arising from the information now supplied by the Deputy the case is being reviewed and the question of entitlement to a grant will be determined as quickly as possible.
