Following clarification by the group of certain matters relating to its application, the provisional grant allocation for this scheme has been increased to £24,276.

asked the Minister for the Environment when proposals for the Gleannicmuirrin public water supply scheme were submitted by Galway County Council; and when it is likely that a decision will be made approving the scheme.
Contract drawings for the Gleannicmuirrin/Costello regional water supply scheme were submitted to my Department by Galway County Council in June 1984. The submission of additional information requested from the local authority is awaited to enable the proposal to be further considered.
