The person in question was notified in writing by my Department on 24 August 1984 that he had failed in the sketchbook test which is a requirement for the award of the Art Teachers' Certificate. I am informed that he has since submitted a new sketchbook to an official of my Department and that the Department will be in touch with him on the matter shortly.
