There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named. However, there is an application from a person with a different Christian name but the same surname from the same address. The application in this case related to the building of a kitchen extension. Such work does not come within the scope of the house improvement scheme; also the work had commenced before an inspection of the house was carried out.
