A new community school to replace the existing second level schools has been sanctioned for Ballinrobe, County Mayo. Consultants have been appointed and architectural planning of the project is proceeding. The question of providing the necessary funds will not arise until the architectural planning has been completed.

asked the Minister for Education if a contractor has been approved for Bunacurry national school, Achill Sound, County Mayo; and when it is likely that work will commence.
My Department have under consideration a submission dated 14 June 1985 from the Commissioners of Public Works regarding the question of placing a contract for the proposed extension to Bunacurry national school, County Mayo. A decision on the matter will be conveyed as soon as possible to the school authorities. It is not possible to say when work may commence.
