Due to the exceptional demand for Teamwork in 1985, it was not possible to assist all applications received. Unfortunately, the application from the Corofin Field Development Committee was among those which could not be assisted. The committee were informed, however, that it could submit a new application in respect of 1986. It was suggested also to it that, having regard to the type of work proposed, it might consider submitting an application for assistance under my Department's social employment scheme. The committee were furnished with details of that scheme and advised to consult the local National Manpower Service office for further information.
