Vol. 361 No. 5

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

61.

Mr. Cowen

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be issued to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is completed and occupied and that all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with. Following an inspection of the house in September 1985, the person named was issued with a list of outstanding works which must be completed before a grant can be paid. When my Department are notified that these works have been completed, a final inspection of the house will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant if in order.
