A licence to export the machinery in question was issued on 11 October 1985. The company have discharged their contingent grant liability to the IDA.
Despite considerable efforts by the IDA following the closure of Cork Wall Products Limited last year, no new operator could be found to take over the assets in order to maintain production and employment in Clonakilty.
