A harbour improvement scheme, which included the provision of ladders and a powered winch was completed at Liscannor in 1983, with the aid of a 75 per cent grant from my Department. There are no further proposals for improvement works at this pier before my Department at present. I am arranging for an engineer from the Department to examine the operation of the winch at the pier at an early date.
