asked the Minister for Education the number and percentage of young persons entering third level education from each county in Ireland.
Written Answers. - Third Level Education Statistics.
The total number of first time entrants to third level education in the 1984-85 academic year was 17,773. Details of the percentage of young persons in each county entering third level education are not readily available. I have set down underneath, however, for the Deputy's information, a table indicating the numbers of full time students in third level education by county of origin; the numbers are provisional, in the absence of statistical returns from two of the third level institutions.
