I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes will not be in a position to deal with the taxpayer's repayment claim until he receives details of his farming activities. The inspector first requested those details on 9 July 1985 and last wrote to the taxpayer in the matter on 11 September 1985. The inspector will write to the taxpayer again and when the required information is supplied his tax position will be brought up to date.
