Vol. 365 No. 7

Written Answers. - Oil Imports Cost.

28.

asked the Minister for Energy the estimated annual cost of oil importation taking into account the recent reduction in the cost of oil.

If the current situation in the oil market is maintained throughout the year, my Department have estimated that Ireland's oil import bill for 1986 would be reduced by approximately 50 per cent from its 1985 level of almost £950 million.
