My Department has already sanctioned a grant for the proposed extension to Lisavaird national school, County Cork. The final stages of the preparation of contract documents in respect of the project is in hands and I have asked my Department to ensure that they are completed at the earliest possible date with a view to the invitation of tenders. The school authorities will be kept advised of progress. I will communicate further with the Deputy when a date for the invitation of tenders has been arranged.
