The information requested by the Deputy in respect of 1985-86 is not yet available in complete form in my Department.
The following tabular statement shows, in the case of each of the Colleges for 1984-85, the number of whole time students, the numbers attending (a) degree courses, (b) diploma courses, (c) certificate courses and (d) other courses (e.g. secretarial). The statement also shows the whole time equivalent (WTE) number of students attending part time courses and trade related courses as well as the total number of students (WTE) in each of these colleges. The numbers on one-year ESF aided courses are also included in the numbers on certificate courses.
With regard to part time courses a breakdown is not available as between the number of students in courses which might be regarded as professional and those in other courses.
