The expenditure incurred in respect of the accommodation in question in the year ended 31 December 1985 from Vote 10, Public Works and Buildings, and Vote 17, Rates on Government Property, amounted to £546,301.29. This expenditure is inclusive of maintenance, supply of furniture, heating, lighting, fire insurance, rent, minor alterations and contribution in lieu of rates but is exclusive of the cost of office cleaning and supply of toilet requisites.
