The allocation of manpower to individual stations is a matter for the Garda authorities who review the strength assigned to the various stations in the light of their assessment of needs and having regard to overall resources. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the current strength at Carrigaline station is one sergeant and eight gardaí and that the question of increasing the strength of the station party is being kept under review.
