My Department had prepared sketch plans for the provision of an additional classroom, a general purposes room and ancillary accommodation at Ballyboughal national school, County Dublin. The school authorities recently requested the provision of a further additional classroom. My Department is at present conducting a review of projected enrolments to determine the extent of the accommodation which should be provided in the proposed extension. Until this question is settled it will not be possible to put the preparation of the tender documentation in hands.
My Department will communicate with the school authorities as early as possible.
