I propose to take Questions Nos. 151, 152 and 153 together.

Responsibility for the administration of the capital grants scheme for the construction of recreational facilities was transferred to my Department from the Department of Labour in May of this year.

At present, my Department have on record 282 applications including Clonberne Community Centre and Kiltomer GAA Community-Social Centres seeking capital grant assistance towards the provision of recreational facilities. The relatively limited funds at present available to my Department for the purposes of the capital grant scheme for the construction of recreational facilities are already committed. It is not possible, therefore, given the prevailing financial circumstances, to consider the Deputy's representations for an allocation of capital grant-aid to the specific projects at this stage.

My Department has no record of a formal grant application under the scheme from Woodford Youth Centre Committee.
