A scheme was completed recently at the Bridewell to improve staff conditions in the building. A further scheme has been prepared and preliminary work commenced on modernisation of cell accommodation.
A major scheme of improvements to Fitzgibbon Street Station will commence early in the new year. The condition of Store Street Station is considered satisfactory having regard to the size of the building. A scheme of improvements to the cells will be undertaken in the new year.
