A social employment scheme project for the employment of three caretakers was operated by the Greenhills Community Sports Complex Committee from 19 August 1985 to 31 October 1986.
At the end of the project an audited account was submitted by the project sponsors as required. The final payment was delayed pending the checking of the audited account against the payment records maintained in the Department. This check has now been completed and the final payment has issued.

asked the Minister for Labour if the social employment scheme application of a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will be approved; and, if so, when.
The application in question was considered by the social employment scheme monitoring committee and approved by my Department in November 1986.
However, in order to remain within the budget provided for the social employment scheme in 1987 regional participation quotas have been allocated. Consequently new projects and participants may commence only when sufficient numbers of current participants complete their term of employment under the scheme. I am, however, confident that this project should be able to commence within the next three months.
