Maximum grants amounting to £2,800 have been approved for the building of an extension and a bathroom subject to the receipt of planning permission and building by-law approval. Certain additional information has recently been requested from the applicant in connection with her application for a water and sewerage grant. Accordingly payment of a grant does not arise at this stage.

The roof pitch on the extension does not meet the Department's specifications and payment of this grant has been deferred pending a further report from the Department's supervising inspector.
