My Department last December received an application from the school authorities for grant-aid towards the provision of improved toilet facilities in the Convent national school, Schull, County Cork. My Department are awaiting a report on the matter from the District Office of the Commissioners of Public Works. The question of grant-aiding the improved facilities will be considered in the light of this report. The Commissioners have been asked to expedite the matter.
