The Community Action on Drugs, National Federation, have recently been in touch with me directly about the possibility of their getting some money from the national lottery to fund their activities. I have replied to the organisation pointing out that the disbursal of the funds available to me from the national lottery is currently under review and I will bear in mind the situation of CAD during this review. I understand that CAD have also applied to the Minister for Social Welfare for a grant and that a decision will be made on that application as soon as possible.
