My Department is completing its examination of the tenders for the proposed extension to the school referred to. Because of falling enrolments at the school, a review of enrolment trends is being undertaken and a revision of the schedule of the accommodation to be grant-aided may arise. I am not in a position, accordingly, at this stage to say when work will commence on the extension.

The position with this, as with all capital projects, is that the rate at which it can proceed must be reviewed in the context of the capital resources available.
