My Department is operating an education opportunities scheme for persons over 25 who have been unemployed for at least one year, on a pilot basis in two centres, one of which is located in Limerick, during the current school year. A decision in regard to the continuance of the scheme will be made following an evaluation of the pilot programmes which is being undertaken by my Department, having regard to available resources.
