asked the Minister for the Environment when a £5,000 surrender of tenancy grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £5,000 surrender grant will be paid to persons (details supplied) in County Louth.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a surrender grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 17 who has entered into a contract to purchase a house and who needs the surrender grant to enable him to honour the contract signed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will ensure that a £5,000 grant issued to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin will receive approval.

139.

asked the Minister for the Environment if payment of a £5,000 local authority house surrender grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 106, 125, 126, 133 and 139 together.

Applications for the £5,000 surrender grant are handled by the relevant local authority up to the stage of certification for payment. Appropriate certificates have not been received in the Department in these cases.
