I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer recently submitted to the inspector his form P60 (statement of pay and tax deducted) for 1986-87. A review of the taxpayer's liability for that year has now been carried out and an overpayment has emerged. A cheque in settlement will be issued to the taxpayer as soon as possible.
