Written Answers. - Kerry Groups Water Schemes.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the Lisscullane group water scheme, Lixnaw, County Kerry.

Following Kerry County Council's recent approval of the revised design for this scheme, my Department is assessing the total cost of the project. The group will be contacted as soon as possible as to the next steps to be taken to advance the proposal.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the Brosna group water scheme, County Kerry.

The works necessary for the integration of the group scheme with Stage I of the Brosna regional scheme have now been identified and costed, and the question of a special contribution to the group for the work involved is currently under examination in my Department.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the Asdee group water scheme, County Kerry.

The group scheme is proposed to be served by the planned stage 4 of the Listowel regional water supply scheme. Further information in regard to the preliminary report for the regional scheme was recently submitted by Kerry County Council and is now under consideration in my Department.
