Under the scheme for the payment of grants towards the building of recognised secondary schools, my Department is grant-aiding the construction of a new secondary school in Swords.
There is no provision in that scheme for the payment of a grant in respect of expenses incurred in the closure of a secondary school. Accordingly, no such grant has been paid to the school authorities in question.
