Applications for remedial posts are processed in the Department and available remedial posts are allocated in accordance with an assessment of priorities. The application referred to by the Deputy has not to date been placed sufficiently high in order of priority of educational need to warrant the allocation of a post.
The application will be further considered together with the other applications on hand in the light of the availability of such posts in the future.
