(Limerick East) asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the suspension of Circular 20/87 until 30 June 1988 she will now sanction the appointment of a teacher to St. Nessan's national school, Mungret, County Limerick, whose average pupil attendance for the present quarter and the previous quarter, is adequate for such an appointment under the terms of her Department's appointments criteria prior to the issue of Circular 20/87; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
