The venue and date of the renewable energy conference referred to in the question has not yet been decided by the European Commission. Until more precise details of the conference, including a draft agenda, have been received, I am not in a position to say what particular implications it will have for Ireland. Representation from my Department will be considered when details of the conference are settled by the Commission.
