asked the Minister for the Marine if, in view of the fact that the Taoiseach has now met the Dingle Harbour Commissioners regarding the dredging of Dingle harbour in County Kerry, he has reconsidered the matter; and if the Exchequer will grant funds and secure a FEOGA grant for same.

asked the Minister for the Marine if he will confirm that £2 million will be allocated to Dingle harbour, County Kerry, for improvement works as announced in a recent media report (details supplied); and if he will confirm that the work will commence on 1 May 1988.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 192 and 196 together.
A development plan for Dingle harbour is at present under consideration. When results of studies at present being undertaken are available, a final decision will be taken on the matter.
