I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that repayments of tax were made to the taxpayer on 10 December 1987 and 15 January 1988 on foot of claims made by her on the grounds of unemployment. If the taxpayer remains unemployment, she may submit further claims for repayment of tax deducted.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that a cheque in settlement of the taxpayer's initial claim for repayment on the grounds of unemployment was issued on 10 December 1987.
A second repayment claim was submitted on 29 December 1987. This claim has also been dealt with and repayment has been made. If the taxpayer remains unemployed, she may submit further claims for repayment of tax deducted.
