I have, to date, given two certificates under section 30 of the Finance Act, 1987, to companies locating in the International Financial Services Centre in the Customs House docks area. The companies in question are Gandon Securities Ltd., a new Irish company backed by 25 major domestic and foreign institutions which will trade in financial instruments, and KB Financial Services Ltd., a subsidiary of Kredietbank N.V. of Belgium which will engage primarily in assetfinancing activities.
