As the Deputy will be aware from my speech on the 1988 budget, an interdepartmental committee are to be established to examine the provision of third level places, the rationalisation of third level departments and institutions and their funding and that meanwhile certain major building projects, including the proposed Tallaght regional technical college, are being deferred.
