As the Deputy is aware there has always been a waiting list for in-patient ENT services at Temple Street Hospital. The admission of any patient for treatment is based on a clinical decision and is therefore a matter for the consultant concerned and the hospital authority. It would not be possible for me to indicate when an individual patient would be admitted for treatment. I would suggest that the Deputy should contact the hospital direct on this matter.
