Vol. 378 No. 3

Written Answers. - Dental Treatment Delay.

122.

asked the Minister for Health when dental treatment will be provided by the Eastern Health Board at Kilbarrack, Dublin 5 for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 13; and the reason such a long delay has occurred in providing same.

The Eastern Health Board expects to provide dental treatment for this person in about four to six weeks time. The delay in providing treatment has taken place because the person is not in one of the categories to which the Eastern Health Board affords priority and this delay was exacerbated by the failure of the person to complete and return a form to the health board when so requested.
