Each year grants are allocated to vocational education committees for the promotion of youth and sport activities at local level.
In 1987 County Waterford Vocational Education Committee expended £976.79 on Sport for All activities which related to the costs incurred in organising a series of events during the Be Active — Be Alive Week from 13th to 19th September 1988. The activities which were organised are in the form of a tabular statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
These events were organised by the County Waterford Vocational Education Committee and it is understood that the County Waterford Sports Advisory Board had no direct involvement in the matter.
