asked the Minister for Health if he will give a list of the names, addresses and telephone numbers of the governing board of the Mater Hospital, Eccles Street, Dublin 7, together with any other relevant information in view of the fact that the Eastern Health Board are unable to supply such details in writing; and if he will make a statement on the seeming difficulty in obtaining such information concerning publicly funded hospitals.

The Minister has no function in the appointment of the members of the board of management of the Mater Misericordae Hospital. The Mater Hospital publish a comprehensive annual report of its activities which includes the information sought by the Deputy.
