asked the Minister for Education if it is her intention to replace five adult education organisers employed by the following vocational education committees; (a) Donegal (b) Cork (c) Meath and (d) Waterford.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 16 and 150 together.
There are no plans to suppress adult education organiser posts. The question of the filling of existing vacancies is being considered at present. There are, however, difficulties about filling the vacancies at this time under the terms of Government policy on public service staffing.
