The grants notified are designed to meet authorised expenditure incurred between 1 December 1987 and 30 November 1988 and any authorised expenditure incurred before 30 November 1987 which was not recouped by the Department at the end of 1987.
The preparation of programmes for the expenditure of grants for works at locations which have not been specified by the Department is primarily a matter for the local authority.
