Applications of schools for remedial teaching posts are processed in the Department and posts are allocated in accordance with a priority of educational need. The number of remedial posts to be sanctioned in any school year would depend on the financial resources available to the Department.
Should an application be received from the school authorities of St. Finian's national school, Dillonstown, Dunleer, it will be considered in conjunction with the other applications on hand in the light of the availability of such posts in the future.
