asked the Minister for Finance the progress which has been made in building the new labour exchange in Finglas, Dublin 11 which was promised some years ago; and if he will establish a temporary exchange in the area in one of the vacant premises in Finglas village.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 63 and 64 together.
It was hoped to have the work in progress by now but unfortunately certain contractual difficulties have prevented the placing of a contract. I am not in a position to say precisely when work will commence but I can assure the Deputy that every effort is being made to get the job underway as quickly as possible. In view of the foregoing, I have no plans to establish a temporary exchange in Finglas village.
