The question of which sections of the Civil Service will be transferred to Waterford as part of Phase 2 of the Government's decentralisation programme is being examined by my Department. The number of staff to be transferred will be 400 approximately. Waterford Corporation have agreed to make a suitable site available to the Office of Public Works for the decentralised office.
